A roadworks scheme causing traffic on a major Wiltshire A-road is due to continue after delays.
Wiltshire Council began eight weeks of work on the A346 Salisbury Road in Marlborough on Monday, September 2.
Since then, temporary traffic lights have been in place at the roundabout where Salisbury Road meets Blenheim Road, between the hours of 9.30am and 3.30pm, causing significant traffic queues throughout the day.
The project had been due to finish on October 25 but has been hit by delays because of a decision to limit when the traffic lights are operational.

Wiltshire Council is now aiming to complete the works, which will see the improvement of cycling and walking routes in the area, by Friday, November 15.
Cllr Nick Holder, cabinet member for highways, said: “The works to construct a shared use path and install a toucan Crossing on the A346 Salisbury Road in Marlborough will now finish on November 15.
“The works are taking slightly longer than originally planned because of the decision to only use the temporary traffic lights when absolutely necessary to limit disruption.
“We are confident that the short extension will be sufficient to complete the outstanding elements.”
