A man has been sentenced for assaulting an emergency worker during a disorder in Wiltshire.
Lee Meadows pleaded guilty to assaulting an emergency worker and using threatening words or behaviour to cause alarm during an incident in the Hill Rise area of Chippenham.
The 53-year-old, of Hill Rise, appeared at Swindon Magistrates' Court on Friday, October 18.
He was slapped with a community order and ordered to carry out rehabilitation activity including alcohol treatment.
Police say they were called to an incident of disorder and another man, in his 30s, was also detained.
He was arrested on suspicion of affray in connection with the disorder and has been released under investigation.
