A video of a car meet that went wrong shows the moment a car doing doughnuts crashed into the crowd.

The driver of the red BMW,  Milosz Sobiechowski, was sentenced on Friday, October 25 at Swindon Crown Court for dangerous driving.

In the video from a car meet at Hawksworth Industrial Estate on September 30 last year, a crowd watches and films two cars spinning doughnuts in a ring.

The crowd is already worryingly close to the fast-moving cars when Sobiechowski loses control and closes the distance.

You can hear the collision as the car hits parked cars and a pedestrian who received minor injuries.

Police responded at 10.55pm and an arrest was made. The BMW was banned from the road after police found it had numerous dangerous defects and modifications.

Sobiechowski, 22, of Selley Walk, Bishopsworth, Bristol, was disqualified from driving for 12 months. He is also required to carry out 200 hours of unpaid work within the next 12 months and pay a surcharge of £114.
