An 11-year-old girl has been injured after being hit by a car that allegedly failed to stop at a red light in Wiltshire.
The incident took place at around 3.40pm on Tuesday, October 15, when a silver car, believed to be a Mercedes A-class, reportedly crashed into a child on London Road in Amesbury.
An 11-year-old girl sustained minor injuries in the incident.
Members of the public reportedly rushed to her aid and have been thanked by police.
The car was reportedly driving from the direction of Tesco Extra towards Amesbury town centre when it allegedly failed to stop at a red light.

Police have launched an investigation into the incident and are urging any witnesses to come forward.
A spokesperson said: “We are appealing for witnesses after an 11-year-old girl was hit by a car on London Road in Amesbury, sustaining minor injuries.
“We believe the area was very busy at the time and we would like to thank the members of the public helped the child.
