An “exciting” bar is set to open in a Wiltshire town centre and the owner has promised customers “something a bit different”.
The former home of The Vaults micropub on St Johns Street, Devizes, has been empty since the end of May when its last occupant, Tonka Bean Cafe, closed for the final time.
But on Friday. November 1 the venue will reopen its doors to customers as The Pour House, a new bar promising the “widest selection of craft beers in town”.
The venue will start life in Devizes with a soft launch at the beginning of November before a full launch at the end of the month.
It is owned by Devizes businesswoman Sarah Watts and will be managed by Tony Lockyear.
Ms Watts told this paper she wanted to bring people and life back into the “beautiful building”.

She said: “This is an exciting venue, bringing back a well-loved venue that has served Devizes well over the years as the Vaults, The Tonka Bean and other businesses.
“We're looking forward to bringing people back in to breathe life back into the place.
“Everyone is welcome, and we will have a great range of products for people to enjoy.”
The new bar is currently undergoing a significant renovation to get it ready for its opening but there has already been significant interest from potential regulars.
Ms Watts says the work will give the space a “fresh and inviting” look.
The Pour House aims to offer its customers a wide selection of drinks and a community atmosphere that they might not get at chain pubs or bars.

As well as craft beers, it will offer an array of ciders, premium wines, gins, and more.
The venue has a licence to sell alcohol that can be taken off site and will also be offering cans and bottles.
Ms Watts also wants to give customers the chance to offer feedback and suggest what drinks they would like to see offered on tap.
She added: “It will be the widest range of products in Devizes so there will literally be something for everyone.
“We want to give customers the chance to choose, which is a bit different, and that personal touch is really important to me.
“We want it to have a community feel and offer a space where it doesn’t matter who you are because everyone is welcome.”
