The following cases were heard at magistrates courts in Swindon and Salisbury.
TROWBRIDGE: On Friday, September 20, Luke Merrydew, of Whitehall Road in Stronsay, was sentenced for drug driving in Wiltshire.
The 33-year-old was convicted of driving on West Ashton Road in Trowbridge on April 19, while the proportion of Delta-9-Tetrahydrocannabinol in his blood exceeded the legal limit.
He was also found to be in possession of cannabis and was driving without the correct licence and insurance.
Merrydew was banned from driving for 16 months, fined a total of £615, and was ordered to pay £85 in costs and a £246 surcharge.
ERLESTOKE: On Friday, September 20, Nathan Killilea, of HMP Erlestoke, was sentenced for throwing or conveying a prohibited article into or out of a prison.
The 37-year-old pleaded guilty to throwing or conveying a mobile phone and leads into or out of Erlestoke Prison on July 4.
He was jailed for six months and the property was forfeited and destroyed.
TROWBRIDGE: On Friday, September 20, Joshua Whittaker, of Jenkins Street, was sentenced for assault and theft from a shop.
The 31-year-old pleaded guilty to assaulting a woman by beating her on or before September 18, and stealing bottles of spirits worth £212.50 from Sainsbury’s in Trowbridge, on August 20.
He was fined £120 and must pay £212 in compensation.
MELKSHAM: On Friday, September 20, Josie Birks, of Granville Road, was sentenced for drink driving.
The 29-year-old pleaded guilty to driving on the A350 in Trowbridge while the proportion of alcohol in her breath was 96 micrograms per 100 millilitres on August 29.
She was slapped with a community order requiring her to carry out 80 hours of unpaid work, was banned from driving for two years, and must pay £85 in costs and a £114 surcharge.

DEVIZES: On Friday, September 20, Dean Venghaus, of Waiblingen Way, was sentenced for drink driving.
The 33-year-old pleaded guilty to driving on Brickley Lane in Devizes while the proportion of alcohol in his breath was 41 micrograms per 100 millilitres on August 31.
He was banned from driving for a year, to be reduced by 91 days on completion of a course, fined £266, and was ordered to pay £85 in costs and a £106 surcharge.
HULLAVINGTON: On Friday, September 20, Aaron Banham, of Greens Close, was sentenced for using a mobile phone while driving.
The 26-year-old was convicted of using a mobile phone while driving on Bath Road in Chippenham on March 5.
He was fined £76, received six penalty points on his driving record, and must pay £90 in costs and a £30 surcharge.
CHIPPENHAM: On Friday, September 20, Callum Woodward, of Wragg Court in Rowley, was sentenced for using a mobile phone while driving on the M4.
The 22-year-old was caught using a mobile phone on the M4 in Chippenham on February 24.
He was fined £138, received six penalty points on his driving record, and must pay £90 in costs and a £55 surcharge.
AVEBURY: On Friday, September 20, Bradley Etheridge, of Wareham Road in Poole, was sentenced for speeding in Wiltshire.
The 38-year-old pleaded guilty to exceeding the 30mph speed limit on Beckhampton Road in Avebury, on February 22.
He was fined £115, received six penalty points on his driving record, and must pay £90 in costs and a £46 surcharge.
