A flood warning has been issued for several Wiltshire towns after heavy rain and rising river levels has caused concern.
The flood alert issued by the UK Government warns that towns and residential areas near to rivers could be at risk.
Flooding is forecast to affect locations near the Bristol Avon, Semington Brook, with low-lying land and roads expected to be most affected, particularly between Melksham and Bathford.
The warning notes that floodgates at Holt Road may also be closed and Bradford on Avon has been pinpointed as an area of flooding risk.
As of Thursday morning, October 10, traffic is slow near Melksham due to surface water on the B3107 Bradford Road Northbound just before (Farmers roundabout).
One Bradford on Avon resident reported: "At 7.30pm last night the side road to the toll gate was locked, the fields either side of the causeway were full, only a small part of the archway on the staverton bridge was visible."
However, river levels in Bradford on Avon on Thursday morning appear to be steady.
A spokesperson for the Government said: "We are closely monitoring the situation and will issue further flood alerts or warnings if necessary.
"Take care and avoid walking, cycling or driving through flood water."
This latest flood warning comes after multiple floods have submerged towns in Wiltshire this year.
In January 2024, both Bradford on Avon and Marlborough saw the worst floods in many resident's lifetimes. Calne was also hit particularly hard in the September 2024 series of floods.
