Wiltshire Police are appealing for witnesses after a speeding driver failed to stop for officers.
On October 1 between 1 and 2pm, a vehicle was pursued by officers in the Corsham area through Yatton Keynell, Castle Combe, Acton Turville, Old Sodbury and then back to junction 18 of the M4 where a Roads Policing Unit took over the pursuit.
The vehicle was observed travelling at over 110mph on the hard shoulder before exiting at junction 18.
Officers successfully stung the vehicle and it stopped in Hullavington, where both occupants were arrested.
The driver, a man in his 30s, was arrested for dangerous driving, failing to stop, possession of cocaine and drug driving and he has been released under investigation pending blood results.
Meanwhile, the passenger, a 16-year-old girl, was arrested on suspicion of possession of a Class A drug and has been released on bail.
Officers have issued an appeal for anyone who was in the area at the time of the incident and may have dashcam footage to contact them.
A Wiltshire Police spokesperson said: “If you have dash cam footage of the incident, please contact us on 101, quoting reference number 54240115676.
“You can also contact us through our website.”
