Armed police have swooped to recover an allegedly stolen vehicle on a major Wiltshire A-road.
On the afternoon of Friday, October officers identified a Jaguar F-Pace that had been reported stolen in a burglary, travelling on the A4 in Wiltshire.
Police say an Armed Response Vehicle (ARV) pounced on the car once it came to a stop and arrested the driver.
The car was subsequently recovered and did not sustain any damage in the incident.
A spokesperson for the force said: “This Jaguar F-Pace, stolen in a Burglary, was picked up on the A4 yesterday afternoon.
“Followed by a stealthy ARV until it came to a stop.
“Driver caught off guard and arrested, vehicle recovered with no damage.”
