The public has been warned to stay away while police respond to a mental health incident in Wiltshire.
At around 5.30pm on Thursday, October 3, Wiltshire Police confirmed officers were at the scene of a mental health incident in Bowerhill, Melksham.
While there is no wider threat to the public, people have been warned to avoid the area while police respond.
In a statement to the public, a spokesperson for the force said: “Please be aware that we are currently at the scene of a mental health-related incident in Bowerhill, Melksham.
“There is no wider threat to the public.
“Please avoid the area.”
