A recognisable Wiltshire pub looks set for a change after being sold to new owners.
A deal has been struck for new owners to take over The Hourglass, near Devizes Marina, the outgoing landlords have announced.
The pub had been listed as for sale for some time, and new landlords have now been found, although the sale is subject to completion.
Management emphasised that all bookings would be honoured during the transition.
The Hourglass first opened in July 2007 after pub company Marstons spent £1 million building the venue, which overlooks the Kennet and Avon Canal.
Sidney Phillips, the firm that marketed the property, says it occupies “an enviable trading position” and boasts “stylish” bars, a patio, and a function room.

Regulars were quick to thank the outgoing landlords for their “amazing service and food.”
In a statement on the pub’s Facebook page, they said: “We are pleased to let you know The Hourglass is now sold and we look forward to welcoming new owners soon.
“All bookings will be honoured.
“If you have any unused gift vouchers please contact us.
“More details to follow as we await the completion date.
