Police officers and fire fighters descended on a Wiltshire house as a drugs bust saw three people arrested and Class A drugs seized.

At 10.30am on Wednesday, September 27, local neighbourhood officers, specialist police units, and the Dorset and Wiltshire Fire Service carried out a drugs bust at a house in Ladydown, Calne.

Upon entering the property, officers discovered a quantity of Class A drugs.

Two men aged in their 30s and 20s, and a woman in her 20s, have all now been arrested on suspicion of being concerned in the supply of drugs.

“It is vital that we all work together to tackle this problem," said Neighbourhood Sergeant Mike Tripp.

“The drug industry destroys families and causes a significant amount of harm in communities through the associated crime and antisocial behaviour.

“We encourage the community to unite in supporting the local police to tackle the issue of drugs and criminal activity in the area.

“If you have any information, or you witnessed something which you feel may have been suspicious, please report it to us to enable us to build a full picture of the situation.”

Information relating to suspected drug offences can be given by calling 101, reporting online on the Wiltshire Police website, or anonymously by calling Crimestoppers on 0800 555111.
