A new cafe looks set to open in a Wiltshire town centre after a Swindon business reportedly took over the popular venue.

Times Square in Devizes Market Place closed its doors for the last time on Thursday, June 27, after eight years of serving customers.

New owners have since taken the unit on and signs in the shopfront now suggest that the venue will be reopened as Caffe Vialottie.

The business, which already has a branch in Swindon, promised the new cafe is "coming soon" and is currently looking for baristas and crew members.

Meanwhile, renovations inside the building are ongoing ahead of its rebrand and reopening, with the previous owners suggesting an eight-week refurbishment had initially been planned.

At the time, owner Artur Jankos said: “The pandemic and lockdowns divided and separated people, and they missed out on experiences with friends and family.

“This is why we have opened a venue that is just as passionate about bringing people together as it is about sumptuous food and lavish coffee.

“We cannot wait for our community to become part of our family.”
