A new pumpkin patch will open on a Wiltshire family farm in Wingfield for the first time next month.

Pomeroy Farm in Frome Road at Wingfield near Trowbridge plans to open for pumpkin picking on the last three weekends in October.

Farmworkers have planted more than 1,000 pumpkin plants in a project spearheaded by Lara Browne, whose mum and dad Jacqui and David run the dairy farm.

Lara said: “We are very excited to welcome the local community to our new pumpkin patch.

“We can’t wait to welcome everyone to the patch and see all your pumpkin carvings.”
