Flood alerts are still in place around Swindon as roads clear after becoming flooded by heavy rain.
Two flood alerts - which are less serious than flood warnings - were updated this morning to remain in Swindon with one to the northeast and one to the northwest.
The first is for the River Cole, Dorcan Brook and South Marston Brook, affecting the Lower Stratton area of Swindon.

The second alert applies in the West Swindon area above Water Eaton, mostly affecting the areas closest to the River Ray in the Rodbourne and Westmead areas of Swindon.
The government website states: “Property flooding is not currently expected. Flooding of low lying land and roads is expected to continue today (September 24).
“River levels have peaked and are starting to fall. Levels will remain sensitive to further rainfall over the coming days.”
Pipers Way is now passable after it was rendered impassable as one of the worst affected roads.
The Meads Roundabout still has sitting groundwater with the council saying they will be present to aid traffic.
Other infrastructure, such as underpasses, remain closed to pedestrians as low-lying paths and land were flooded.
Queens Park’s paths have been coloured bright green by algae from the overflowing pond.
