The rider of a motorbike has been taken to hospital following a “serious” crash near Devizes.
The crash involving a motorbike and a car happened shortly before 10.30pm on Sunday, September 22 on the B3098 junction of West Lavington and A360 Gore Cross.
The motorbike rider was taken to Southmead Hospital in Bristol, said Wiltshire Police, with road closures on the roads where the incident happened.
Motorists have been advised to avoid the area and seek an alternative route as the roads are expected to be closed throughout this morning.
The full Wiltshire Police statement reads: “Please be aware that we currently have road closures in place on the B3098 junction of West Lavington and A360 Gore Cross, following a serious collision last night involving a car and a motorbike.
“The incident happened shortly before 10.30pm – the motorbike rider has been taken to Southmead Hospital in Bristol.
“Please avoid the area this morning and seek an alternative route as the road closures are likely to remain in place throughout the morning rush hour.”
