Wiltshire College has completed the £2.2 million renovation of a Georgian manor house at the heart of its campus.
Lackham House, at the college’s campus near Chippenham, has been transformed into the Wiltshire Business School, a facility with a series of “modern learning spaces.”
This includes improved IT provision, a reception area, and additional classrooms and conference facilities.
The building, which will host a variety of business-related courses from September 2024, is designed to be akin to a 21st-century business centre.

Principal & CEO Iain Hatt led MP for the area Sarah Gibson on a tour of the facility ahead of the new academic year.
He said: “We are grateful to Sarah Gibson for giving up her time to visit our Lackham campus.
“We were delighted to be able to offer her a tour of the site and explain more about the growing variety of courses we offer at Lackham which are helping to support the development of the workforce of the future across a wide range of industries.”
Sarah Gibson added: “It was fantastic to see the range of modern facilities available to students.
“I look forward to continually supporting the aspirations of the college and its students.”
