The family of a teenager killed in a car crash near Swindon has thanked the community for their support.
16-year-old Toya Jefferies died at the scene of a serious one-vehicle crash near Bushton on August 29.
Toya, who was a passenger in the Renault Clio involved, has been described by her family as a “firecracker” who was “loved by everyone she met”.
Following her death, a GoFundMe was started to support her family and has raised nearly £9,000 at the time of writing.
Toya’s dad Wayne has since thanked the Royal Wootton Bassett community for their support.

He said: “We need to say how much we've been touched by our family and close friends, plus the whole community.
“You have all been fantastic, we are so lucky to live in Royal Wootton Bassett, we have received flowers, cards, and gifts in remembrance of our baby girl Toya Jefferies.
“We have been touched by the generosity on a GoFundMe page… we can't thank everyone in person but hopefully this can reach out to you all. We love you all.”
Mr Jefferies believes the flood of tributes to his daughter shows the positive impact she had on those around her.
He added: “This is the hardest challenge we as a family have had to deal with and wouldn't wish this on anybody, parents should never have to bury their children first.
“As a parent, all we want is our children to go out into the public and be respectful, which we can see she was as the love we are receiving back from you all.
“We love you all, R.I.P baby girl.”

The GoFundMe page was started by Emmaline Richards after a request from Toya's brother Leon to help “take some of the pressure and worry away” from Wayne and his family while they grieve.
Speaking on the page, she added: “Toya was a young beautiful girl who was taken way before her time.
“She was loved by many, and the family would love nothing more than to give her the best goodbye she deserves, so I’d like to try and help them give her that without having to worry about the cost.
“If you could just spare a couple of pounds or even a share to get it out there that would be massively appreciated.”
At the time of the incident the driver of the car, an 18-year-old man, was arrested and police urged witnesses to contact them on 01225 694597 quoting log 351 August 29.
