A 17-year-old from Wiltshire has been arrested on suspicion of drug driving.
Trowbridge Response Team 2A and Warminster Neighbourhood Police officers spotted and stopped a vehicle that was being driven without the correct insurance in Warminster on Friday evening.
They arrested a 17-year-old suspected of drug driving after Police Dog Rey completed a search of the vehicle, which has now been seized.
A Wiltshire Police spokesperson said: "There’s ‘No Excuse’ for committing any Fatal Five offences on our roads.
"The Fatal Five offences refer to those offences that are most likely to kill or cause serious harm on our roads.
"They are: No seatbelt, excess speed, careless driving, drink/drug driving, and using a mobile phone."

Wiltshire Police launched the two-week No Excuse road safety campaign on August 2 to crack down on the common causes of deadly crashes as the latest figures indicate that over the past four years, the number of people killed or seriously injured as a result of collisions in Wiltshire has risen from 157 in 2020 to 255 in 2023.
The focus on Fatal Five offences is a year-round part of the police's activities.
