Delays are expected to continue during roadworks in a Wiltshire town after queues were gridlocked on a key route.
The A361 through Devizes was hit by heavy traffic on Friday, August 6, after temporary two-way traffic lights were installed near the Morrisons roundabout on Estcourt Street.
Roadworks started at around 10am on Friday and are expected to continue until the end of Tuesday, September 10.
During this time, Wessex Water has been given permission to keep temporary traffic signals in place while a water main is repaired.

Queues tailed back towards the Travelodge on London Road to the east and towards Caen Hill Locks to the west, with slow moving traffic along New Park Street, Northgate Street, and Bath Road.
Residents fear this disruption will continue over the weekend of Saturday, September 7, while work carries on.
Wessex Water is also continuing with its wider water mains replacement project in the town, with work currently ongoing in the Market Place.
