One of the busiest roads through Wiltshire is set to close to drivers for multiple nights.
The A4 will be hit by a week of night closures between Avebury and Marlborough, starting on Friday, September 6.
These closures will prevent traffic from using the route from the junction with the B4003 at West Kennett, just east of the Beckhampton roundabout between Devizes and Avebury, to the junction with Bridge Street at Manton, near Marlborough.
The road will be blocked to traffic from 7pm to 6am until Friday, September 13, although signs at the scene advise that the route will remain open on weekends.

During this time Wiltshire Council’s contractors will be carrying out carriageway resurfacing and other associated maintenance works.
Drivers have been warned that delays are likely, and the official diversion route would see motorists trying to avoid the closure take a lengthy detour.

The council estimates that the diversion is 62.59km and drivers following it would use the A346, A342, A361, and A4 travelling past Devizes, Upavon, Burbage, and Marlborough.
It is expected that many will use shorter alternative routes rather than the official diversion.
The affected stretch of the A4 has previously been criticised by residents who have raised concerns over the safety of the road.
