In January, Queen Camilla visited the town where she met members of the Swindon Domestic Abuse Support Service (SDASS) as the charity celebrated its 50th anniversary.
During a speech at the celebration, she said: “I wish you all a very happy 50th birthday and want to thank you for all doing such an amazing incredible job.”
Before departing, Camilla took a trip to Deacon & Son Jewellery on Wood Street in Old Town, where she was met by large crowds of onlookers.
Less than a month later there was another royal engagement in the county when Princess Anne travelled to Devizes to unveil a new community response unit for St John Ambulance.
