Large crowds lined the streets of a Wiltshire town centre for one of the highlights of the calendar.
Devizes Carnival 2024 took place on Saturday, August 31, and attracted large groups who flocked to the area to either take part in or watch the parade.
The procession, which was full of colourful outfits, mascots, and floats, set off from The Green and made its way through the town centre.
After the event, organisers from Devizes Outdoor Celebratory Arts (DOCA) praised the work of its volunteers which allowed the event to go ahead.

Speaking on Facebook, a spokesperson said: “Thank you everyone for taking part and for coming out to watch the parade. What a brilliant evening.
“Special thanks to all the volunteers who gave their time to make today possible. Carnival can’t happen without them.”
The theme of this year’s carnival was Home is Where the Heart is and those taking part were urged to show off their favourite things about their hometown.
Throughout the evening a huge array of costumes were on show, including tributes to Only Fools and Horses, and the Suffragette movement.
