A rural Wiltshire road remains closed while police investigate after a teenager was killed in a serious crash.
Officers shut an unnamed road between Bushton and Hilmarton shortly before 10pm on Thursday, August 29, following a single-vehicle crash.
A Renault Clio was involved in the incident and a 16-year-old-girl, who was a rear passenger, died at the scene.
The driver, an 18-year-old man, has since been arrested on suspicion of death by dangerous driving and taken into custody.

Over 12 hours after the incident the road remains shut while police carry out investigation works in the area.
This is not causing significant traffic delays, however, due to the rural nature of the route.
Police are continuing to appeal for any witnesses to get in touch as their enquiries continue.
A spokesperson added: “Any witnesses to the collision or anyone who has dashcam footage is asked to contact the Serious Collision Investigation Team on 01225 694597 quoting log 351 of yesterday’s date.
“Alternatively they can contact the team directly at SCIT@wiltshire.police.uk.”
