A new purpose-built DIY store is set to open to customers in a Wiltshire town.
Work has been ongoing to build and prepare a new Kellaway Building Supplies builders merchants store at Methuen Court in Chippenham for some time.
This summer, signage was added to the 1,800sq building, which has been constructed on Ashville Court in Methuen Park, and the yard was filled with supplies and materials.
The chain, which has stores across the west, has confirmed the new branch will be launched in September and signs at the site promise it will open “soon.”

In a statement on the firm’s website, a spokesperson said: “We are thrilled to announce the opening of our newest branch in Chippenham, set to launch this September.
“Our team is excited to support the local community and its surrounding areas with top-quality building supplies and exceptional service.
“At our new Chippenham branch, we look forward to welcoming new trade account customers, as well as local DIY enthusiasts.
“Whether you are a seasoned professional or a passionate DIYer, we are here to meet all your building supply needs and provide expert advice.”
During the original planning process for the development, Kellaway said the new store would open six days a week and employ around a dozen people.
