Two teenagers will appear in court after the police pursuit of an allegedly stolen car through Wiltshire ended in a crash.
At around 10.30am on Bank Holiday Monday, August 26, officers received reports that two teenagers had taken a Jaguar and were driving it around Westbury.
Police located the vehicle and successfully deflated two of its tyres.
The Jaguar then crashed on the A350 and officers arrested two teenagers.
A 16-year-old male from Devizes, who cannot be named due to legal reasons, has now been charged with dangerous driving, failing to stop a vehicle when required to do so by police, aggravated vehicle taking, using a vehicle without insurance or in accordance with a licence, and leaving without payment.
He is due to appear at Swindon Magistrates' Court today after being remanded in custody.
Paramedics took the other arrested teenager - a 15-year-old boy from Devizes who also cannot be named due to his age - to Salisbury District Hospital after the crash and he was later taken into custody at Melksham.
He was charged with aggravated vehicle taking and will appear at the next available court.
