Two young men have been arrested following a pursuit of a stolen Jaguar in Wiltshire.

On Monday, August 26, at approximately 10:30am, police received reports that a Jaguar had been stolen from an address in Shrewton and was being driven by a 16-year-old male.

The vehicle was seen travelling on the A36 through Westbury and a pursuit was authorised with the assistance of NPAS (National Police Air Service) after they had failed to stop for officers.

Following the deflation of the vehicle’s tyres, it crashed on the A350 and two young males from Devizes were arrested on suspicion of dangerous driving, failing to stop for police, theft of a motor vehicle and burglary.

One of the occupants is currently in Melksham custody assisting officers with their investigation, while the other remains in hospital but is not seriously injured.
