A group of alleged Travellers have reportedly 'camped' on private land at Leap Gate in Trowbridge.
The Travellers are understood to have arrived overnight with several vehicles, including cars, caravans and vans.
Wiltshire Council says its officers are aware of the Travellers but are not involved as they are camped on private land.
Cllr Mel Jacob, whose Trowbridge Paxcroft ward includes Leap Gate, said: “They are camped on private land and it’s really tricky to do anything about it.”
Wiltshire Police have been approached for details and a comment but have yet to respond.
