An international firm is in the process of leaving a Wiltshire town with its two large industrial units set to be sold.
Last year MSA Safety announced plans to relocate its manufacturing operation at the Hopton Road Industrial Estate, on the edge of Devizes, to existing sites outside the county.
The US firm, which specialises in the production of safety equipment, has since moved manufacturing work from Devizes to its bases in Yate and Mexico.
It is now in the process of transferring its other departments ahead of leaving the town.

In the meantime, its two large manufacturing and warehouse units on the industrial estate have been put on the market.
MSA is confident that progress on a sale will be made soon.
A spokesperson said: “Manufacturing work at Devizes has been relocated to MSA Safety’s facilities in Yate and in Queretaro, Mexico.
“The team in Devizes is now in process of relocating its engineering and warehousing functions to Yate.
“Regarding the sale of the building, that effort is progressing.
“We have had several site visits by prospective buyers, and we expect to begin accepting bids, over a limited timeframe, very soon.”
Last year MSA said the decision to move its manufacturing operation away from Devizes was part of its push to “optimise” its global footprint.
At the time, its international business segment president Bob Leenen said: “While more work remains before we finalize this decision and next steps, we very much appreciate the years of service our Devizes team has dedicated to MSA’s customers.
“I am optimistic about our opportunity to strategically expand our recently modernised manufacturing and research and development facility in Yate, while continuing to serve our UK and European customers from our multiple service centres located in the country.”
In total, two buildings with industrial and manufacturing facilities are now for sale on a freehold basis, with vacant possession.
The cost of the units, which take up around 60,000sq feet of space, is available on application.
Both buildings boast warehouse and office space, as well as parking provision.
They are accessed via Waller Road, just off the A361, while the second building also has a separate service yard access.
CBRE Limited, the firm marketing the units, believes they are suitable for a range of purposes, including light industrial, industrial processes, and storage and distribution.
