An outdoor market in Wiltshire will be relocated for “safety” reasons with strong winds predicted to hit the county.
Winds of up to 40mph are forecast for large parts of Wiltshire on Thursday, August 22, while some heavy rain is also expected to fall.
These conditions will be worst throughout the morning and should ease in the afternoon.
As a result of the forecast, Devizes shoppers and traders have been warned that the town’s weekly outdoor market has been relocated this week.

Traders who usually trade in the Market Place under gazebos have been moved into the Corn Exchange from 7am for the safety of those attending.
Those trading from vans and trailers will be unaffected.
Using the Devizes Markets Facebook page, a spokesperson said: “Due to tomorrow’s weather conditions we will be moving the outdoor market into the Corn Exchange for your safety.
“All traders who usually trade under a gazebo can be found in the Ceres Hall of the Corn Exchange.
“All traders in vans and trailers will remain in the Market Place.
“Public can access the Corn Exchange from 7am.”
