Son of celebrity chef Marco Pierre White Junior has been jailed again after stealing socks and cigarettes from Wiltshire and Bath, along with driving offences.

White, of Rudloe Hall Hotel, Corsham, stole £382.44 of JBL headphones and socks from Chippenham Sainsbury’s and burgled The Crown Inn in Bath for £2,000 of cigarettes.

The Celebrity Big Brother contestant had said an 18-month jail sentence for a crime spree had given him time for a “proper deep think” and to come clean of heroin.

His new offences, all from Monday, August 12, include failing to do a roadside drug test and driving dangerously without insurance or licence on the A350.

He was jailed for eight months after pleading guilty to all offences at Bristol Magistrates' Court on August 13, four months each for the theft and burglary.

He must pay £154 compensation for the burglary, but no costs were awarded. He was given a seven-month driving ban and his driving license was endorsed.

White, who had been to rehab 17 times as of February 2023, told the MailOnline at that time that prison was what he needed to come off heroin.

He said: “I needed to go to prison to have that time to have a proper deep think.

“I intend to get sober and take it day by day. People have invested time and money in me and I have thrown it all in their face.

“You do not realise how much you have got until you go in jail.”

He was previously jailed for 14 offences including shoplifting, possessing a knife, possessing heroin and racially abusing a supermarket security guard.

He stole spirits from Waitrose in Bath as well as a credit card holder from the city's Mulberry store, as well as dishwasher tablets and toiletries from Co-op.

The court was told he had a privileged start in life and a good upbringing with his family.

The court records show his address as Rudloe Hall Hotel, owned by his father, where rooms are available from £130 a night.

He previously pleaded guilty to possession of heroin at a London branch of Costa Coffee, threatening a maid at Rudloe Hall and failing to pay a £30 taxi fare to the hotel.

By 18, White was struggling with a heroin addiction. While in prison, he converted to Islam to help him stay clean.

It was White’s list of previous convictions that led the magistrates to give him a custodial sentence.

In 2019 he appeared at Swindon Magistrates' Court after admitting drugs and theft charges.
