Residents will have the chance to view plans for the regeneration of a historic market at an upcoming event.
The Shambles indoor market in the centre of Devizes is set to undergo an overhaul to improve the facility for future generations.
Devizes Town Council has been working with local firm PKA Architects to develop proposals for the project, which will have a budget of up to £1 million.
Now residents will have their first chance to see what the changes could mean for the market, during a consultation event on Saturday, August 24.

Those with an interest in the future of The Shambles have been encouraged to attend the event to find out more.
Advertising the event on Facebook, a town council spokesperson said: “On Saturday, August 24, from 10am to 2pm, councillors and staff will be at The Shambles with proposals for enhancing the building for the next generation of market traders and shoppers.”
There will also be information on what is proposed placed throughout the building in August and September, during which time residents can have their say by filling out a survey on the plans.
The project aims to help The Shambles encourage business, support community events, and promote Devizes as a destination for visitors.
