Wiltshire car owners have been issued a warning after a spate of thefts in the county targeting Range Rovers.
Police say there have been multiple incidents of car thefts across Corsham, Chippenham, and Calne.
In particular, thieves are believed to be targeting Range Rovers and keyless car owners have been urged to take extra care.
In one incident, a silver Range Rover was stolen from a driveway in Moor Green, Neston.
Enquiries remain ongoing into this alleged theft.
DC Kev Golledge said: “We want to strongly advise the public to invest sooner rather than later in a Faraday pouch or boxes to secure keys overnight and help prevent thefts.
“They aren’t expensive and can save a lot of hassle and financial loss.
“Enquiries are currently ongoing in relation to the incidents reported and we’d urge anyone with information, or anyone who suspects suspicious activity in their area to call us immediately.”
Security advice for drivers with a keyless vehicle includes ensuring all key-fobs are safe and protected in the home when not in use, or utilising signal suppression pouches.
Motorists can also invest in steering wheel locks or other security devices, vehicle tracking devices, CCTV covering their property or vehicle, and bollards or driveway gates if possible.
