Plans have been lodged for a new 16ft street food van which would serve customers in a Wiltshire town.
A consultation is currently ongoing after an application was submitted to open Munchies, a 16ft catering van, on the Bath Road Industrial Estate in Chippenham.
If approved, the plans would see the food van set up shop just off the A4 into the town centre, between the Chippenham Depot and the Chippenham Ambulance Station site.
The owner of the business plans to sell burgers, chips, chicken, lamb, and breakfast from what would be the town’s latest food van.

Chippenham town councillors will debate the plans at a planning committee meeting on Thursday, August 22.
The town council is one of several stakeholders being asked to comment as part of a Wiltshire Council consultation running until August 27.
Before any street trading consent is granted, an officer must assess the safety of the site and any risk the plans could pose, the impact of street trading on public order, and the risk of nuisance to the public.
Any street trading activity should not create “nuisance from noise, smells, fumes, litter or the discharge of fluids to households or businesses in the vicinity.”
