It was important for us to stop the rot against Stockport on Saturday after the Leeds loss, so it was good to get a draw.
You never want back-to-back defeats because it can spark a bad run but fortunately we put in a much-improved performance.
I actually thought we deserved all three points but we can't be too disappointed.
We packed out the midfield and looked a lot more solid in there with Michael Timlin replacing Anthony McNamee, because obviously he's a more defensive player.
It took a great goal from Craig Easton to earn us the point, I think I remember him scoring one like that in training before.
To be fair to him his goal scoring record is not bad.
He struck it sweetly but at the end of the day you'd take a goal going in off your backside, it doesn't matter how they go in.
But I have to say his goal celebration was one of the worst I have ever seen.
He ran off punching the air, it was like a 1966 celebration ahead of its time.
Bobby Charlton would have been proud of that one.
A lot of the boys plan their goal celebrations but I don't think Craig knows what to do - he looked like he wanted to fight someone.
We're all looking forward to the Millwall game on Sunday now. They will bring a noisy support so it should make for some good banter between the fans and an electric atmosphere.
We want to put to bed the last couple of performances at home because we were well below par against Colchester and Leeds.
The boys want to give the fans something to cheer and get behind us for.
On a personal note, it's been disappointing for me lately as I've only had about ten minutes of match time in the last three weeks.
I'm not angry about it, I just want to be out there playing.
You want the team to do well but it's mixed emotions when you're not in the team.
This is the longest spell in my whole career I have gone without playing, without a proper injury.
It's frustrating but it's part and parcel of football.
I think I'm dealing well with it but my mrs would probably say otherwise.
I've just got to do everything in my power to change the gaffer's mind.
