Situated right on Wiltshire’s doorstep, the UK’s top bluegrass festival is back with an impressive lineup of award-winning and sellout acts.

Bluegrass music is slowly becoming more popular with a wider audience, due to the rise of folk and mandolin influences in radio's Noah Kahan and the featuring of Appalachian music in The Hunger Games: Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes.

Didmarton Bluegrass Music Festival offers something for everyone, from the diehard bluegrass/folk fans and nimble-fingered players to the newbies just looking to find out what bluegrass is all about.

Now in its 36th year, the festival is a unique experience, with headline global acts, bars, camping and merchandise, but also workshops and amateur jamming sessions around the bonfire.

This year’s festival will be held at Kemble Airfield, just north of Malmesbury, from Friday, August 30 to Sunday, September 1, and tickets can be bought on Didmarton's website, ranging from £35 for a day ticket or £90 for the full weekend.

All children under 14 go free, and teens aged 15-17 receive a discounted price.
