A man has been reported as acting “inappropriately” in a forest.
Wiltshire Police say they have been conducting patrols in Savernake Forest, near Marlborough, after recent concerns.
They have not yet sighted the man but it says patrols are ongoing.
A spokesperson said: “Patrols being conducted of Savernake forest due to recent concerns in the area of a male acting inappropriately.
“There have been no recent sightings of this male but patrols will continue.”
Savernake Forest is home to ancient trees, picnic spots and a campsite. It is a popular place to walk nearby to the town of Marlborough.
Savernake is the only area of ancient forest not owned by the Crown, and the oldest tree is 1000 years old.
