The search is ongoing for a new occupant to fill a “beautiful” Wiltshire building left vacant again.
28A St John’s Street, just off Devizes town centre, has been empty since Tonka Bean Cafe and Bar shut at the end of May, around a year after opening its doors.
The Grade II listed unit had previously been the home of The Vaults micropub for nine years before the business closed its doors in 2022.
Now the property has been listed on Rightmove as available to lease for £1,042 per month.

Last June it was transformed into a Caribbean-inspired cafe and bar by Tonka Bean owner Abrilli Phillip, who spoke of the importance of filling the space and supporting the next occupant.
Speaking ahead of the closure of the business, she said: “I just hope somebody takes on the building because it’s beautiful and I wouldn’t want to see it empty again.
“If somebody comes in, I hope they get similar or better support because they would need that regular clientele.
“I always support the other local business in town, we all have to continue to come along and do that.”
The unit includes 1,378sq feet of ground and cellar floor space as well as a further 1,030sq feet of cellar storage.
