The following cases were heard at magistrates courts in Swindon and Salisbury.
WARMINSTER: On Tuesday, July 23, a 15-year-old, who cannot be identified for legal reasons, was sentenced for taking a motor vehicle without the owner’s consent.
The teenager pleaded guilty to the offence, which took place in Warminster on December 8 last year, as well as driving while disqualified from holding a licence and driving without insurance.
He was handed a Youth Rehabilitation Order with intensive supervision and surveillance, lasting for one year, and will have a curfew monitored by an electronic tag for three months.
He must also pay £85 in costs.
CHIPPENHAM: On Wednesday, July 24, Amitpal Singh, of Bishops Court on High Street, Slough, was sentenced for failing to stop after a road traffic crash.
The 24-year-old pleaded guilty to being the driver in a fail to stop crash at Leigh Delamere Services off the M4, on January 27.
Singh failed to give his details to the owner of another vehicle that was damaged in the incident.
He was fined £292, must pay £85 in costs and a £117 surcharge, and his driving record was endorsed with five points.
CALNE: On Wednesday, July 24, Kevin Doman, of Swaddon Street, was sentenced for drink driving.
The 42-year-old pleaded guilty to driving on the B4042 in Swindon while the proportion of alcohol in his breath was 67 micrograms per 100 millilitres, on July 7.
He was banned from driving for 18 months, to be reduced by 18 weeks on completion of a course, fined £120, and ordered to pay £85 in costs and a £48 surcharge.
CHIPPENHAM: On Wednesday, July 24, Stephanie Santillan, of Reading Road in Yateley, Hampshire, was sentenced for drink driving in Wiltshire.
The 31-year-old pleaded guilty to driving eastbound into Leigh Delamere Services off the M4 while the proportion of alcohol in her breath was 48 micrograms per 100 millilitres, on July 9.
She was banned from driving for 13 months, to be reduced by 13 weeks on completion of a course, fined £461, and ordered to pay £85 in costs and a £184 surcharge.
DEVIZES: On Wednesday, July 24, Andrew Pocock, of Mayenne Place, was sentenced for being in charge of a vehicle while above the legal alcohol limit.
The 52-year-old was found guilty of being in charge of a black Audi in Northgate Street Car Park while the proportion of alcohol in his breath was 69 micrograms per 100 millilitres, on March 2.
He was fined £750, ordered to pay £725 in costs and a £300 surcharge, and his driving record was endorsed with 10 penalty points.
WARMINSTER: On Wednesday, July 24, Matthew Milicevic, of Centurion Way, was sentenced for drink driving.
The 33-year-old pleaded guilty to driving a vehicle on Swaledale Road in Warminster while the proportion of alcohol in his breath was 81 micrograms per 100 millilitres, on March 1.
He was banned from driving for 20 months, to be reduced by 20 weeks on completion of a course, fined £752 and ordered to pay £100 in costs and a £301 surcharge.
CHIPPENHAM: On Friday, July 26, Alan Barnes, of Hunstrete Road in Farmborough, was sentenced for arson.
The 46-year-old was convicted of destroying by fire a mattress and fence panels belonging to his victim in Chippenham on January 16.
He was slapped with a community order, which he must comply with until January 2026, and must carry out 150 hours of unpaid work within 12 months.
Barnes must also pay £600 in compensation.
