A Wiltshire Police officer who was accused of being 'sexually inappropriate' with female colleagues while working as a sergeant will remain in the force.
PC Storm Brand appeared in a hearing held at Wiltshire Police Headquarters between July 29 and August 2, after his behaviour was said to have breached professional standards.
The legally qualified chair of the hearing heard how between July and November 2023, PC Brand was alleged to have acted in a sexually inappropriate manner towards female colleagues, both on and off duty.
In some of these incidents, PC Brand was acting as a Sergeant and therefore had power over the colleagues he allegedly acted inappropriately with.
Although three allegations were made against the police officer, only two of these were upheld, and one allegation amounted to misconduct while the other was deemed gross misconduct.
The third allegation was not proven.
As a result of the hearing, PC Brand has now been given a final written warning lasting for three years.
“Our communities rightly expect nothing but the highest standards of professional behaviour from all our officers and staff," said Deputy Chief Constable Craig Dibdin.
"Our colleagues deserve to be treated with respect by their fellow officers and staff.
“PC Brand’s actions fell short of the standards we expect and has been held to account for his actions.
"I am grateful to those who stepped forward in this case to provide evidence and we continue to encourage our colleagues to report all behaviour and conduct that falls below the standards expected."
