Starbucks has confirmed it will bring its business back to a Wiltshire High Street.
The international chain previously refused to confirm plans for a new coffee shop at the old Wilko building in Chippenham town centre, despite the building owners announcing the news.
But, following the approval of a planning application for signage at the unit, the business said it was looking forward to “bringing the Starbucks Experience to customers in Chippenham.”
A spokesperson added more details will be released on the timeframe for opening the branch once they are confirmed.
The approved plans include signs on the shopfront saying “Starbucks” and a hanging sign with the chain’s logo.

Starbucks will fill the second of three new units in the old Wilko store, with a Tesco Express set to open next door on Friday, August 16.
The Harkalm Group, which owns the building, announced the addition of Starbucks in May.
A spokesperson said: “We are delighted to announce we recently exchanged contracts with Starbucks for a new cafe in our Chippenham High Street development.
“Starbucks’ unit will benefit from return frontage onto the River Avon, giving their customers a beautiful outlook.
“With Starbucks joining Tesco in our tenant line-up, we’re excited to see the building operational again, bringing life back to this part of the High Street.”
