Organisers of the 50th anniversary Trowbridge Festival say they are “not fussed” about the showers that threaten to dampen the three-day event this weekend.
Nick Reed, who has organised the festival at Greenhill Fields in Southwick, said: “We are good to go and are not worried about the weather.
“We have got tented cover everywhere and all the stages are under full cover so we are not fussed if it rains or if it is sunny. We have got plenty of cover.”
Sunny spells and showers are forecast on Friday – the first day of the festival taking place from July 26 to 28 – while Saturday and Sunday are forecast to be cloudy and dry.
More than 350 have booked to attend the festival and the campsite will be open at the Greenhill Fields on the road between North Bradley and Southwick.
The event kicked off on Thursday, July 25 with a pre-festival party featuring music from the Junkyard Dogs and Molly’s Chambers.
It ends on Sunday with a headline performance by folk legends Maddy Prior, of 70s folk group Steeleye Span, and Jon Boden, of Bellowhead.
Mr Reed says there are still some tickets left online for the festival before they are sent to the venue for sales on the door.
He added: “Come join us this weekend for some amazing music and family fun. There are still a few tickets available, so don't miss out.
“Grab yours now at Trowbridge Festival Tickets and be part of the excitement. This is your last chance to get tickets before they move up to on-the-door prices.”
