Excitement is building amongst foodies in a Wiltshire town after details of this year’s food and drink festival were released.
The annual Devizes Food and Drink Festival will take place across a week in September this year, from September 21 to September 29.
While the full line-up will be revealed at the end of July, some of the events taking place during the event have already been teased.
This will include a gourmet dinner with a quiz, world food, lunches in unusual venues, a murder mystery dinner, Cafe Sci, a seven-course tasting dinner served entirely in ramekins, an artisan producer market, and a foodie film night, and more.
A spokesperson said: “The much-anticipated annual Devizes Food and Drink Festival programme is about to be launched.
“From September 21 to September 29, participants can enjoy a packed few days, celebrating food and drink in and around Devizes.
“With so many local people involved - producers, farmers, chefs, home cooks, brewers and distillers, cafes, food venues, and more - it's certainly an exciting and varied line-up.”
Full event details will be on the group’s website from the end of July and the box office opens on August 12.
Residents can also buy tickets in person at Devizes Books.
