Police have provided an update on their investigation at Savernake Forest.
Wiltshire Police set up a cordon in the car park and it remained there throughout most of Tuesday.
While this has now been taken down as of Wednesday morning, officers did provide an update on what was happening at the popular woodland.
“We are investigating following a third-party report of a welfare concern yesterday morning in Marlborough," a police spokesperson said.
“A cordon was briefly set up in the car park at Savernake Forest as part of our enquiries but has since been closed down.
“Our enquiries remain ongoing.”
Locals reported seeing a large number of police vehicles at the scene, including a dog unit.
