Tributes have been paid to a "beautiful and bright" mum of two died who suddenly at the age of 29.

Laura House, from Cricklade, died unexpectedly on July 11 after collapsing with brain trauma. 

Shocked members of the community have since donated thousands to her husband, Chris, and their two children - a six-year-old daughter and a three-year-old son.

Laura had just passed her exams at Boots in Cricklade, where she was known by many in the area.

A fundraising page has been set up on GoFundMe, asking for members of the public, friends and family, to do what they could to offer support to Laura's family.

Donations came in thick and fast that Fern had to raise the target to £10,000 and at the time of writing, £9,280 has been given.

Hayley Clare, one of those who set up the page, said: “Last week, on July 11, we lost a beautiful and bright member of our community. A loss which was sudden and unforeseen.

She added: “Laura’s death has touched the hearts of many in our local community and beyond. The grief and loss we feel are immeasurable in comparison to that of her family, husband, and two young children.

Laura was described as a happy, welcoming, creative, always smiling member of our local community, and she supported it in many ways that we continue to be so grateful for and build upon.

Hayley Clare said: “Laura’s family deserves the full support of our local community at this difficult time. With your kind donations, we hope that Laura’s life can be celebrated in the way that her family wishes and to help alleviate financial pressures for them over the coming months.

“By providing this support, we hope that their focus and energy can be prioritised on supporting each other through this unthinkable tragedy.”

Tributes have poured in on the page for Laura, with many describing what an amazing person she was.

One person wrote: “For the short period of time I worked with Laura, I quickly acknowledged how much of a warm, amazing person she was. It deeply saddens me to hear of her passing and will be thinking of her family during this difficult time.”

Another added: “I’m lost for words and really sad to hear this news. I’ll miss seeing your friendly face and quick chat when I pick up my future prescriptions. Thinking of your friends and family at this very sad time
