The iconic Red Arrows are scheduled to fly over Swindon and Wiltshire twice in as many days.

The aerial display team is in the area for the Royal International Air Tattoo at RAF Fairford and took to the skies with a new routine at the airshow on Saturday, July 20.

According to the military airshow website, the Red Arrows are set to follow up this performance with another display on Sunday, July 21, which will take them over Swindon and parts of Wiltshire.

The key timing to remember for Swindon residents hoping to catch a glimpse of the aircraft flying in formation is 11.59am, when they are due over Whitworth Road, between Penhill and Pinehurst.

Elsewhere in the county, the jets are expected to reach the Royal Wootton Bassett area at 11.57am and Wroughton just a minute later.

From Swindon, they will head back to the airfield.

But those who miss the display will have another chance to see them in transit on Monday, July 22, after the air tattoo finishes.

On their way to RAF Waddington, the Red Arrows will fly over Swindon at 9.42am, Luckington at 9.45am, Holt at 9.46am, Rowde near Devizes at 9.48am, Dauntsey Lock at 9.49am, Wroughton at 9.51am, and Marlborough at 9.52am.
