Parking restrictions could be introduced on a residential Wiltshire street after residents complained of being trapped in their driveways.
People living in Queenfield Court, off Park Fields in Chippenham, have raised concerns that their cars are often blocked in by others parking across their driveway.
An unnamed resident says cars parked on the busy, narrow street have often blocked the dropped part of the pavement over the last year, preventing them and their partner leaving for work or arriving home.
They said: “Access to Queenfield Court (is) continuously blocked or difficult to access due to overhanging cars on drop pavement.

“Sometimes, my partner and myself have been unable to exit Queenfield Court to go to work, or enter when returning from work.
“My partner has also had abuse when asking people to move or not park there.”
They have lodged a highway improvement request suggesting Wiltshire Council tackles the issue by introducing double yellow lines along Park Fields and outside Queenfield Court.
This will be discussed by Chippenham town councillors, who will decide whether to support the scheme and put it forward to the Local Highways and Footpaths Group on Thursday, July 11.
Wiltshire Council has previously warned drivers that those who cause obstructions with their parking will be targeted by police and civil enforcement officers.
