A popular high-street clothing shop is set to close its doors after 13 years.

Caroline Dallas, of Kintbury, opened the first Luna Boutique in Marlborough in 2011.

Just one year later the independent ladies' fashion shop expanded to open a second branch in Hungerford and soon Luna UK offered four different stores across the South West.

Now with just two branches remaining, the flagship Newbury store and Marlborough’s High Street, Ms Dallas has made the decision to focus all her efforts on Newbury.

“Our Luna Marlborough shop will be closing down in the autumn and so we currently have a huge clearance sale on at the moment,” announced the store on its Facebook page.

“Do come in to find your summer wardrobe essentials at a fantastic price. We are open Monday to Saturday 11am to 5pm on the High Street.”

Luna was first set up with the aim of helping those who spend hours looking at their wardrobes desperately seeking outfit inspiration.

“I wanted to make getting dressed a joy, not a complicated math equation," explained Caroline.

“Fresh looks arrive in our store every week and we help you find the best clothes for your shape, colour, and lifestyle - it’s like having your very own personal stylist on hand.”

Lovers of the Marlborough store will be able to find all the same unique pieces and stylish fits in the Luna Newbury store, on Northbrook Street, and online.
