Works are ongoing ahead of the opening of a High Street convenience store in Wiltshire.
In previous days, extensive renovation works have been taking place at the former Wilko building on Chippenham High Street, where a Tesco Express is set to open.
The convenience store will replace Tesco’s Emery Gate superstore which is closing its doors for good on August 15.
At the time of writing, Tesco was yet to confirm the opening date for this new store, but building owners The Harkalm Group announced the unit had now been handed over to the retailer.
The property group had previously been carrying out refurbishment works at the building in preparation for this handover, but these have now been completed.

Tesco has since started fitting out the property to turn it into a convenience store.
This has included installing fridges and freezers at the property, and a Tesco branded ATM machine has also been put in the shopfront.
The former discount store has been converted into three units by the Harkalm Group, which says two have now been filled.
The developer has already announced that Starbucks will be joining Tesco and the coffee chain has submitted plans for signage to Wiltshire Council.
A third unit remains on the market with no occupant yet confirmed.
