Drivers in and around Wiltshire will have 21 National Highways road closures to watch out for this week.
Four of them are expected to cause delays of between 10 minutes and half an hour.
The latest expected works list, with notes from National Highways, shows that four closures already in place are expected to carry on this week:
• M4, from 8pm June 11 to 6am July 5, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M4 eastbound, junction 18 to junction 17 lane closure for barriers.
• M4, from 6am June 14 to 8pm July 7, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M4 eastbound, junction 18 to junction 17 hard shoulder closure for barriers.
• M4, from 11.59pm April 27 2021 to midnight, July 31 2024, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M4, junction 17 to 16 eastbound, 24hr hard shoulder closure for carriageway defect repair.
• A36, from 8pm January 2 to 5am December 30, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A36 Both Directions Beckington to Ower mobile lane closures for drainage.
And a further 17 closures will begin over the next two weeks:
• A36, from 8pm June 24 to 6am June 26, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A36 Stapleford, multiway traffic lights for surveys.
• A36, from 8pm June 24 to 6am June 26, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A36 St Paul's roundabout, Salisbury lane closures for surveys.
• A303, from 8pm June 24 to 4am June 25, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A303 both directions Longbarrow Rbt to Winterbourne Stoke, two-way traffic lights for sign maintenance.
• A36, from 8am to 4pm on June 25, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A36 both directions Upton Lovell, multiway traffic lights for SSE power outage.
• A303, from 10am to 2pm on June 25, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A303 westbound, Mere Bypass lane closure for carriageway repairs.
• A36, from 8pm June 25 to 6am June 26, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): M27 eastbound, junction 2 to junction 3, carriageway closure for resurfacing work.
• A36, from 8pm June 26 to 6am June 29, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A36 Wilton Road, Salisbury traffic signals for surveys.
• A303, from 8pm July 1 to 6am July 2, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A303 westbound, Mere Bypass, lane closure for electrical works.
• A36, from 8pm July 1 to 6am July 17, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): A36 Both directions Chapmanslade to Warminster, two-way traffic lights for technology replacements.
• M4, from 8pm July 1 to 6am August 3, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M4 westbound, junction 17 exit slip, lane closure for local authority works.
• M4, from 9pm July 1 to 6am July 2, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M4 eastbound, junction 17 to junction 16 lane closure for electrical works.
• M4, from 8pm July 2 to 6am July 3, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M4 westbound, junction 14 to junction 15, Lane closures for technology work.
• A303, from 8.30pm July 2 to 6am July 4, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): A303 eastbound, Parkhouse to Thruxton Circuit, slip road and lane closures for drainage work.
• M4, from 10pm July 3 to 6am July 4, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M4 westbound, junction 15 to 16, lane closure for drainage.
• M4, from 10pm July 3 to 6am July 4, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M4 westbound, junction 16 to 17, lane closure for drainage.
• M4, from 8pm July 8 to 6am July 12, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): M4 westbound, junction 16 to 17 closed for carriageway repairs, diversion via A3102, A4, A420 and A350, diversion for small cars via A3102, B4042 and A429.
• A36, from 9pm July 8 to 4am July 9, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A36 northbound, St Marks Rbt to St Pauls Rbt lane closure for sign repair.
National Highways is responsible for maintaining motorways and major A-roads, so closures of smaller roads will not be included in their schedule.
